We are delighted to partner with a Residential Service Provider dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual Disability and are currently recruiting for Relief Social Care Assistants for their services in based in Co Wicklow.

Applicants must have:

  • QQI level 5 in Social Care or international equivalent (validated by QQI).
  • Must have a full Irish Driving Licence and have own car
  • HSEland courses – Children`s First and Safeguarding etc.
  • First Aid Course
  • 2 years experience working with complex Mental Health/Autism/Intellectual Disability cases
  • at a one-2-one level
  • Must have experience of lone working and feel comfortable working alone for duration of their shift
  • To promote and protect the rights of people in a manner that respects their dignity, their right to make choices and their privacy
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards and best practices

The role is predominantly includes 12 hour day shifts and night shifts – available for both shift patterns is essential. Immediate start
