AA Euro Healthcare is seeking experienced and qualified Speech and Language Therapists. Our client provides speech therapy sessions to children and young adults in person in the Wicklow area.
Permanent and Temporary contracts but will consider flexible contracts to suit work/life balance.
A panel may be formed from this vacancy for any similar vacancies in the Wicklow area.
Duties:
Carrying out assessment and therapy at clinics
Collaborating with clients, family, carers and other staff
Onward referral to other members where necessary
Keeping detailed clinical notes and drafting reports on client assessments, intervention and progress.
Working with psychology in the provision of asd assessments
Liaison with schools and other professionals
providing content for online courses and programmes
providing face to face and online teletherapy services
Requirements:
QQI Level 8 Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
CORU registration (desirable)
Experience working with children with Eating, Drinking and Swallowing difficulties
Experience working with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).
Minimum of 2 years` experience working with children with disabilities.
Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
Have 3 years` full time (or an aggregate of 3 years` full time) post qualification clinical experience.
Eligible to work in Ireland (only candidates with a current work visa will be considered)
